TMD was instructed to pursue a dilapidations claim against Durham County Council and the Inland Revenue in respect of the 26,000ft2 1960s built office building arranged over lower ground, ground and three upper floors with associated parking.

The building had lain empty for a considerable period of time and was dated and in poor condition. It was likely to have be difficult to find a tenant for so much space given this and its location. We were however able to negotiate an excellent settlement for the landlord.
