Sandown Park Racecourse – Refurbishment

TMD are proud to have undertaken the role of Architect, Project Manager and Contract Administrator for the refurbishment of the new hospitality suites at Sandown Park Racecourse on behalf of The Jockey Club.  The works to the two hospitality suites, 1875 lounge and The Gallery, were completed in November and in time for their grand opening during the prestigious Tingle Creek racing event.

Works to both 1875 lounge and The Gallery included a strip out back to shell and new finishes throughout, including exposed services, feature walls and lighting, a video wall housing six screens, new bar area and food servery, and new furniture throughout.  The design and works were undertaken in order to meet the client budget, but also deliver a high specification and contemporary finish to the space.
