TMD acted as the Contract Administrator, Quantity Surveyor and Architect on the redevelopment and extension of a five bedroom family home in Islington.

The works included the construction of front, rear and side extensions, replacement of the roof, installation of new bathrooms and kitchen and the renewal of internal finishes throughout.

The works involved the demolition of much of the existing structure, with the exception of two external elevations which were retained in order to comply with local Conservation Area restrictions. Extensive temporary support works were thus required.

TMD also acted as the building owner’s party wall surveyor in relation to the project, with party wall awards being agreed with four adjoining owners.
