TMD was appointed as Project Manager and Employer’s Agent for a 2,850m2 laboratory refurbishment in Oxford.

The project has involved two enabling works packages including the fit out of a separate GMP warehouse building, followed by a strip out package of the main lab area back to shell space ready for the main fit out works.

The new laboratory will include Containment Level 2 and 3 areas, as well as GMP and GLP facilities.

The project has required extensive user consultation to define the specific technical requirements of the client.

The project has been successfully procured via a two stage Design and Build procurement route.
