TMD was initially instructed to undertake a feasibility study for the demolition of existing rooftop research greenhouses in order to undertake a comprehensive replacement of the roof covering and create a containment level 2 research greenhouse.

Following approval for the scheme, TMD acted as project manager and lead designer for the works, including detailing the replacement of the existing roof covering and producing the specification and drawing details for the specialist greenhouse.

The works were managed on a JCT design and build contract and were successfully completed within budget.
